Familiar with the Global Gaming Network Service? No? Swedish company Terraplay, the company responsible for the service that enables games publishers, network operators, and service providers to run community services for their games, just won a hefty award for their good work.

Terraplay won "Best Games Service Provider" at the Mobile Entertainment Awards at London recently. It was held at the posh Kensington Royal Garden Hotel. Over 350 industry executives from the mobile content scene attended the event.

The Awards recognized companies that are involved in the creation and delivery of entertainment content, including games publishers, developers, billing providers, mobile operators... you get the idea. Organized by Intent Media, the jury of the event consisted of over 300 industry leaders from various parts of the mobile entertainment business.
