Acquire and From Software have released the very first trailer to their upcoming game Tenchu 4 scheduled to launch on the Nintendo Wii this October. What you'll see in the video will surely remind you of the franchise's glory days.
To those of you who've been playing long enough to remember, the Tenchu series was born in the PlayStation One era and starred the sneaky duo of Rikimaru and Ayame. Together, they got the gaming world hooked to, err, grappling hooks and stealth kills. Later installments, however, were not quite so successful and broke some hardcore fan games. Will this next-generation sequel breathe new life to the series? We'll see. Motion-sensing katana controls could be just the spark plug the franchise needs. |
