The guys behind HEN Kernel exploit is back. Davee together with the rest of Team Typhoon has posted a proof of concept video demonstrating a 6.10 HEN exploit running on the PSP Go. But unfortunately according to Davee's post, this exploit will never be released to the public for reasons unknown.
Developer's note: This video is for bragging rights ONLY (since it's very cool nowadays) and shows our Proof of Concept 6.10 Custom Firmware running on the PSPgo. This will never be released to the general public or anyone else at all whether you are a dev or not, this is Team Typhoon internal material, we have no reason whatsoever to waste a perfectly good exploit. So don't ask for release dates. We don't care about your complaining, whining and everything remotely related and it's your own damn fault since you brought this on yourselves. Better version of the video showcasing more homebrew coming next week. Thanks go to Sony for this awesome piece of new hardware, finally a decent hardware revision. Also thanks to all historied PSP Homebrew developers for paving the way for us to be able to do this. Thanks to Demetrius M for the tip! Related articles:

The one feature I couldn't give up by going to a OFW is the ability to manage my files from the PSP. I like to backup my save games as I play, and the official Sony method 'this operation will take two memory sticks and require 24 memory stick changes' just doesn't cut it. Of course the fact my save slots are limited by something other than the free space of the memory stick is an indictment of the official FW as well.

You bŕstards! Though i havnt watched the video yet, that does not matter. The point is I feel as though yall complained soo much now it just doesnt matter anymore. Theh dont have to release any of this stuff you know. Can yall imagine all of the exclusive stuff that may have never existex because DarkAlex or team GEN never wanted to release it. Aww man i blame the complainers, because now who knows could have been released. Yall forget everytime anew firmware is released, chances are it needs to be softmodded to be released to the public, but now that may never happen. No more compatibility with 1.50kernals, irshell, or new ripped games. I had a feeling this would happen eventually. Either the public pissed the devs off or they just got tired of re-doing stuff then releasing it. Thats what i think. Say it aint so! Oh well, either get a job and buy your games or get two psp's like we did back in 05-06! Im not mad though, whether the devs chose not to release new stuff or not for whatever reason, face the facts they may have chise to stop way before the consoles life span was up. For official use firmware updates have to be the best idea ever to combat softmoding.

I never used my psp to play games, mostly used it for home-brew. I want better games to come out so please do not release this it would stop any new games from coming out.
