Well, it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we might as well mention this tidbit of into as gaming for a cause. According to scattered reports over the internet, Target is offering up sales of pink Nintendo DS units for the good of womankind. For this week, Target will be donating the proceeds of their pink DS sales to breast cancer research.

Now, we first heard about it through the Gaming Angels website, and other forums online have made mention of it, but we're definitely searching for more information.

We can't seem to find an actual indication of this deal at Target's online store, so it might just be an in-store promo. If any of you have seen a copy of a newspaper ad of this or have found confirmation, let us know. We'd like to get more details on this event, and spread the word if possible.

For now, at least, we'd like to believe this to be a truthful goodwill gesture until proven otherwise. We'll keep you informed as we know more.
