A 15-year old Swede teenager found out too soon that going on a 24-hour gaming binge isn't healthy for him. At 2PM on Sunday afternoon, the young boy suddenly collapsed in his room and went into convulsions after playing the newly-released Wrath of the Lich King expansion for the world-famous World of Warcraft for 24 hours straight.

The boy was with six of his friends in his home when the collapse happened. According to the father: "They played all day and all night. Maybe they got a few hours of sleep. They ate a little food and breakfast at their computers."

The doctors' diagnosis at the hospital revealed that the teen's bodily systems were suddenly thrown off its usual pattern due to sleep deprivation, lack of food, and too long a time spent on focusing on the game.

Fortunately, the boy is now alright and is expected to make a full recovery. As for the parents, the father says he intends to limit the game time his boy gets.

With this incident, specialists are again joining in on the game addiction bandwagon, eagerly throwing their own two cents on said phenomenon. At the Game Over treatment center in Linkoping, central Sweden, officials have seen a spike in the number of calls from concerned parents ever since Lich King was launched.

"It's been a huge problem. We have parents who call everyday and ask," Emilie Backlund of Game Over said. "And it's not only a problem for young people. Adults have also contacted us and it really doesn't matter how old you are."

The other losers in this incident would be the six friends who were in the room with the boy who collapsed. Good luck on getting your hands on any computer any time soon.

what a lightweight. Although anyone who plays WoW still when they are 15 seriously needs to take a look in the mirror.

World Of Warcraft should have been banned, many people get their lives destroyed because of that game.

or, it should be a time limit, you cannot play more than like 6 hours per day.
