E-PaperToppan Forms has been working with SiPix Imaging ever since these two companies teamed up in October of 2005. This was a big move for Toppan Forms, but was also a necessary one as they had chosen to enter the E-paper market.

The company now has developed another form of e-paper which is as flexible and as ultra thin as the ones out in the market. But don't mistake this with other e-papers out there as this one is different: this can record and playback sound. Japan has apparently been enjoying the e-paper with this kind of technology in the form of postcards that are being sold in Japanese department stores.

Hopefully, this kind of electronic paper that can record sound be developed further by Toppan Forms so that it can be used in other things too. So far, only up to 20 seconds of audio can be recorded to the e-paper.
