that we still have a simple way to transfer save games.
Simplest to me seems to be to allow USB keys with save games.
"Our Sony representative"
I don't like the way that was worded.
Couldn't they just say, "we changed our mind" like they did with the release?
If it comes to be over 500$ I don't see this thing selling well.
Sony said that it won't be over $400.
"Among other things, the first official pricing details have been talked about declaring that the PS3 will be no less than 50,000.00 JP YEN, which converts to roughly $425 USD."

A 60GB drive sounds good. Then again I thought the 360's 20GB HDD would be cool until I found out it would cost $100! I got a 120GB in my computer for just $50 and a week after I got it I saw a 160GB on sell for 50$!
si its going to come with the 60 gig hd as a standerd

Sounds good to me...but i haven't heard that from sony.
got a link? Because seems like SSJ3fox shows a link proving against you.
I dont really feel like looking for it, but I heard that comment too that it wouldnt be more than 400. That was shortly after E3 in 05, and it was from a no name "Sony official".
There have been several "Sony officials" that have made comments over the past year, that either turned out false or never turned out at all.
But considering that was a year ago, and just the other day they confirmed it will not be cheaper than 400 bucks we could probably expect it to be between 4-600 bucks here in the US. Or maybe they will suprise us all and release it here for 400 bucks. Hopefully we will know the price sooner than MS spilled on 360 pricing details.
Also, you gotta think, at the time the inclusion of a HDD was up in the air. So that estimate of "no more than 400" if true, was estimating it without a HDD or OS.

It
seems that way. Microsoft has the Xbox Live platform which allows
gamers to use Microsoft's online service, offering downloads and
allowing multiplayer gaming, and now Sony will have the HDD in the PS3.
