no need to jump the gun... it's barely a month old here in PAL regions and the PS3 is not even on it's semester mark worlwide...
to those people who keep on saying if they lower it down by $100 they'll get one... people keep on saying it week by week... just stop complaining and get one if u want one and if u don't want one then keep those negative thoughts away... for sure u've already saved up that $100 since ur first complaint...

the PS3 (and the XBox Elite for that matter since a lot of people are b*itching too about it being expensive) is a luxury gaming console... people want an elite gaming experience then u pay for it and stop moaning...
people are saying they are getting ripped off... if it's too expensive for u then get a PS2, last i heard it still kicks a*ss...
bottom line is if u want it then find a way... if ur really not able to then stop moaning and complaining... i wanted a high-end BMW when i was shopping for a car but i couldn't afford it... i didn't go around bi*tching to people... i didn't go to BMW and say "you guys are freakin expensive!!! if u lower ur price by 10 gran i'll get one!!!"...

don't get me wrong XBox is good... it might be good enough for some... but for me it is lacking and for $200 difference i've already got wifi, blu ray, browser, HDMI and some things i might have forgotten... now some people may not want it but i do... i've got a 1080p Sony Bravia so i need me a Blu Ray and HDMI.. i've got a desktop, a laptop and a PS3 so it's wifi for me... the XBox doesn't do that... and for $200 that's a bargain...

Get DGL-4300 wireless router by Dlink.. trust me its fast enough as its a specific gaming router ;) get ur facts str8 and more current with present, wifi isn't slow anymore unless u bought a cheap piece of crap router for like 40$.. well yeah no wonder moron.. LOL

I just traded mine in. Wasn't next gen enough!!! ;P. I have been playing games with graphics equal to the 360 for years now on my PC. Only game that impressed me was dead rising. Also my 360 has been messed up since day one and scratches the hell out of my games. I played PS3 twice in CompUSA and was blown away by the graphics of motorstorm. Truely next gen stuff on the PS3

I will never buy a blu gay movie, so the PS3 is worth $400 tops (if decent games are released,) and I will never even consider getting one until the price drops significantly. Too bad sony, you screwed yourself.
