Luigi World v1 - Image 1 Luigi World v1 - Image 1

The often overlooked Italian plumber Luigi finally gets his name on a Playstation Portable homebrew game again after half a year's worth of wait. Developer seanPaul223 made a stop at the QJ PSP Forums to tell us all about Luigi World version 1.

Inspired by the homebrew Jump Duck Link, SeanPaul223 presents us with a simple LUA side-scrolling game where the bottom line is to let Luigi collect diamonds (Mario is stuck with the less-expensive gold coins; Luigi finally beats him to something). Being in its infant stage, the game has just one level and finishes when the score reaches fifty.

The homebrew dev has lots of improvements planned for the next build though: more levels, enemies, and music. More importantly, an improved graphics is under way. So do stick around here at QJ.NET for the game's latest developments.
