Remember that Samsung contraption, the SPH-4300? That chocolate bar and small phone that could be mistaken as a pendant and was only released in South Korea is stepping on foreign shores, specifically North America, with the release of a GSM variant. Although sporting a different name, it is still packed with the same functions and features.
The Samsung X830 (thumbprints above) is a slider phone that has its number keys arranged in two columns instead of the usual three columns. That design makes the phone slimmer and easier to hold. The Korean version only weighs 77.5 grams, can store 250 mp3 files in its 1GB flash memory, and it also has the usual 1.3 MegaPixel camera. It supports music formats such as MP3, WMA, OGG, DCF, and SMP among many others. Its body size is 85 x 29 x 20 mm. Because of the long and narrow body, the display screen is 128 x 220 pixels. The phone also comes with bluetooth, USB 2.0 and 64 polyphonic tones.
There is still no information on its availability and price tag.
