X820 Ultra Edition - Image 1Though quite superficial, there's no denying that being thin is one of the most sought after physical quality. So we guess, the same goes for our today's technology especially for cellular phones.

It would be remembered that a couple of months ago, Samsung came up with a record-breaking 6.9 mm thin model, the Samsung X820. Now, there have been rumors going around that the company improved on the mentioned model by shedding off another millimeter.

While the exact model for this phone hasn't been announced yet, enthusiasts are referring to it as Samsung Ultra Edition 5.9. Some of the new phone's exciting features are listed below. Also, the phone is expected to be announced this coming February in a 3GSM show in Barcelona. If all plans go well, it should be available in the market by March.

Samsung X820 Ultra Edition 5.9 features:

  • Only 5.9 mm thin
  • Tri-band (GSM/GPRS/EDGE)
  • 3.2 megapixel camera
  • 80 MB internal memory
  • Bluetooth (A2DP)
  • Digital power amplifier
  • Speakerphone
  • MP3 and video player
  • TV-out port
