SOE's Kyle Heuer on Legends of Norrath game details - Image 1It seems like there's more to expect from the online collectible card game. Kyle Heuer, the associate producer of Legends of Norrath, was able to discuss some of the details of what's to come from the card game of EverQuest and EverQuest 2.

In his interview with Ten Ton Hammer, Heuer was able to state the time when they'll be starting the Trakanon raid drops, their plans of hosting tournaments, and developments for their upcoming third expansion.

Heuer said that they'll be starting the Trakanon raid drops this month. Players can team up and take down some of the bosses found in the EverQuest realm. Cards for Legends of Norrath will be dropped as loot. A total of 31 purple (raid) cards can be collected. Heuer added that "I'm not 100% certain, but I think the next raid might be a three-member raid. You'd have three people against one raid boss."

Aside from the in-game developments currently happening for the online card game, he added that the SOE developers want to bring more people into the game by holding a variety of ladder matches and tournaments. With this, players can freely choose whatever they want to increase their gaming experience.

With the current success that both expansions, Oathbound and Forsworn have achieved, Heuer added that they won't stop with their progress with the card game since they have plans of releasing more expansions. He said that they're already working on the third expansion already. Although he can't give out specific titles or details just yet.

There you have it. Expect of lot of developments for Legends of Norrath in the coming months. We'll be posting updates as they come.
