I like to pay on $400 for a system and pay $50 a year for the life of the system. I also like to buy more HDD to make my system backwards compatiable. I also think that Blue Ray is stupid, I mean how much space does a game need. The fact that your system will never be backwards compatiable if you don't have a Gold membership is cool to. I also want to add that wi-fi is stupid. Don't forget HDMI, at least they give us a choice!
What else do these guys say....GOW is going to look better then all PS3 games. I admit that GOW looks good but that's b/c it's created on the Unreal Engine. Anything that is on that Engine is going to look pretty good (the 360 cannot take credit for that).
Why are so many 360 guys going out of there way to hate on the PS3.

What makes you think they wont? Launch titles aren't always the best and that counts for almost every other system out there. Even the 360 had horrible launch games. Launch games however don't tell squat about what games will come out in the future. If you think like that, you might as well call yourself a fanboy. With all the popular franchises Sony has and will most likely make an apperance on the new systems, those already make up a good future library. Of course there are possible new titles that will do just as good. You can't rule out something that hasn't come out yet.

What I cant understand is:
ALL the people out there saw Sony getting one thing after another wrong.
But anyone is still saying: "Yeah, the TGS will turn the Sony World arround!"
I cant understand that. 30+ Games to play when there was not ONE game to play at the GC? Mhhh...
Ether Sony IS actually hating Europe or you all will be proven wrong at the TGS when sony will dissapoint all those Fans out there again.
I hope that the PS3 will be a good console. And I hope they actually have a good online plan.
But in a realistic way, it seems more and more like it is going to be the same like the PS2. Hope Sony wont screw up this time. Cause Online is everything.
If I imagine Test Drive Unlimited without the Online Feature... damn. Kick it in the bucket.

You will find out that RE5 is coming to the 360 along with the ps3, you will find there are a million racings games that could be matched to GT and for FF13...there are abou5 5-10 Japanese RPGS that are coming out before or around the same time as FF13.

i have to just say this:
the point in there being better games on ps3 is that it HAS ff13 not just 'another jap rpg' and it HAS mgs4 not just another 'stealth 'em up' and it has... etc (think GT, DMC, God of War etc) - these are exclusives and they are better games than the other games in their genre... so saying 'well 360 has like 5 rpgs coming out' is not valid, ps3 has ff13 - this is enough to kill any other 5 rpgs.
there were playable demos at e3, many games have been shown off for ps3 - playable!
people saying 'oh it'll turn out like ps2' as if that's a bad thing! don't you recall the ps2 outselling the xbox by an enormous amount... oh and it's still selling, with games still being made for it. (kind of makes me glad i didn't waste my money on the xbox)
ok, i was quite excited to hear xfire was doing sony's online - it works, and is really quite good. this news is a shame, but it doesn't mean sony are going to fail wrt its online component.
microsoft have set the bar high, but sony are the kings of ripping-off-and-improving... and so there's a good chance 'playstation hub' will be good.
i only ever played online games on the pc, and i have to say i enjoy it... the system having multiple servers run all over the place works well. i do waste a lot of time on cs:s.
ok, now although i have said ff13 is better than 'generic jap rpg' i don't deny that 360 will have some standout titles of its own: Gears of war is shaping up well, and halo3 can't really fail, there are some others but i don't really know them... but they never appealed to me, i know squeenix - they won't let me down with ff13, i know kojima - he won't let me down with mgs4... i also have played halo and didn't like it (i'm one for m/k, not controllers).
there's no need to be rude in order to convey a point, in fact it undermines your own credibility.

the point in there being better games on ps3 is that it HAS ff13 not just 'another jap rpg' and it HAS mgs4 not just another 'stealth 'em up' and it has... etc (think GT, DMC, God of War etc) - these are exclusives and they are better games than the other games in their genre... so saying 'well 360 has like 5 rpgs coming out' is not valid, ps3 has ff13 - this is enough to kill any other 5 rpgs.
there were playable demos at e3, many games have been shown off for ps3 - playable!
people saying 'oh it'll turn out like ps2' as if that's a bad thing! don't you recall the ps2 outselling the xbox by an enormous amount... oh and it's still selling, with games still being made for it. (kind of makes me glad i didn't waste my money on the xbox)
ok, i was quite excited to hear xfire was doing sony's online - it works, and is really quite good. this news is a shame, but it doesn't mean sony are going to fail wrt its online component.
microsoft have set the bar high, but sony are the kings of ripping-off-and-improving... and so there's a good chance 'playstation hub' will be good.
i only ever played online games on the pc, and i have to say i enjoy it... the system having multiple servers run all over the place works well. i do waste a lot of time on cs:s.
ok, now although i have said ff13 is better than 'generic jap rpg' i don't deny that 360 will have some standout titles of its own: Gears of war is shaping up well, and halo3 can't really fail, there are some others but i don't really know them... but they never appealed to me, i know squeenix - they won't let me down with ff13, i know kojima - he won't let me down with mgs4... i also have played halo and didn't like it (i'm one for m/k, not controllers).

I mean do you expect those customers that bought and were (assumingly) happy with their console that had numerous memorable franchises to suddenly hate it? Sure it might have a bad launch and many fans may defect to the 360, but I don't see the PS3 crashing and burning just becase of an initial stumble in the race.
I also wanted to write some things towards the "stronger titles" that you listed but those kinds of arguments have been done to death by now so I leave it at that.

i stand by my assessment that FF is a great series, i have played almost every iteration (apart from the ds ones) and have enjoyed all of them. ff12 (that was made 'after ffx') scored 40/40 in a famitsu review, i'm quite excited to get my hands on that! now, we don't know a great deal about ff13 but i have some faith... just like you're probably quite sure that halo3 will be good.

yes, i have looked at the xbox 360's 'standout' games, but FOR ME none of them really stood out... i have read the odd review and considered them, but i can't say they have me at all interested.
the past has a lot to do with the present and the future, you should know that! yes, there are lessons to be learnt - the higher you climb the further you are going to fall - but sony can take note of that... i'm not saying ps3 is a definite winner (god knows the odds are continually climbing against them) but they have a very strong brand name, some good technology, a sound plan, and most importantly they have some great 3rd party support.
this xmas will be interesting, 360 should have got its foot in the door by now, and won't have anythign to prove - it will simply sell. ps3 will be the newbie and will have to justify its price.
can you see how a discussion is supposed to work? you must consider the other side's position aswell as your own.
