If this new rumor is to be believed, the Spring update for the Xbox 360 will include calibration options for a motion-sensing device and game installation on the console's hard drive. Of course, the operative words for the preceding sentence are "if" and "rumor".Kotaku reports that an internal source has released an unconfirmed list of new features that are being considered for addition to the Spring update. The list contains about 80 new features, tweaks, and changes and is reportedly "incomplete and subject to change". The full list is below. Keep in mind that while it includes a lot of things that would excite Xbox 360 owners, this list is totally unconfirmed. Xbox LIVE
*UPDATE* Microsoft has sent out an official statement regarding the Spring update rumor: We don't comment on rumors or speculation, but what we can tell you is we've never seen this list before. |

lotsa stuff in there that people really want and have wanted for years. Hopefully this is pretty accurate.

» Easily the best
Pretty much every change is useful, and a welcome addition. Hopefully this isn't just a list made by some loser with nothing better to do

Media things sound very nice, but still far away from XBMC :D
Copy Media to HDD - missing this feature since x360 launch.

Nice update, but only 3 useful features for me.
1) Option to disable invites from non-friends or all players.
2) Option to disable invites from titles not on gamercard (excludes demos).
3) Introduce a group chat (4) for Private Chat and conferences through Video Chat.

just because M$ has never seen this list, doesn't mean anything...
i hope for their sake this is a real list of features.
finally the 360 dash looks to lose the beta feel...
if they could address the 15sec scan time (120gig) when working in ANY "Memory" section, i wouldn't have any complaints...
