Prince of Persia logo from teaser site - Image 1That new Prince of Persia game we've been hearing about may soon be put to light, because a new website for the next installment of the franchise by Ubisoft is now online. Or at least, it would be completely surprising if this teaser site is not for the next-gen iteration of the platforming Prince.

We can't learn much from the website in question, but it does reveal that the upcoming Prince of Persia title isn't violent enough to warrant a rating beyond 12+ by PEGI. It's worth noting that the site's source code contains the words "best action adventure game ever," "Ubidays 2008," and "corruption."

If Ubisoft isn't pulling any punches in this one, we can rest assured that this Prince of Persia was developed by Ubisoft Montreal of Assassin's Creed fame. PEGI already gave a rating, so it could very well be past development. Banking on the next title being Prince of Persia: Corruption won't be a bad idea neither, and we're counting on confirmations at Ubidays 2008 this May 28 to 29.
