Pokemon Diamond and Pearl may still be running strong, but it looks like Nintendo is already gearing up for a new game for the franchise by this year.

That much was implied by Japan's CoroCoro magazine's latest issue, which had listed a time-line of the past Pokemon handheld titles.

The magazine didn't disclose any further details, at least for this month. CoroCoro notes that it will be revealing details on this mystery Pokemon game by its next release on May 15.

We'll get back to you guys in case we receive any more information regarding this matter. For now, we'll be getting to the next important topic: What are they gonna name this new title? Topaz just doesn't have that ring to it, and Lapis Lazuli's a little to long.  Amethyst, hmm, probably...
