Ultimate Alliance to be set in Civil War story arc - Image 1If you're Marvel comic book lover, then you've probably heard about the Civil War story arc that's been keeping Iron Man and Captain America awake at night (well, maybe not Captain America...). A recent marketing leak made it known that Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 will be set in this particular portion of Marvel history.

According to the leak, the story will be set during Marvel's Civil War storyline, with characters being forced to pick a side. Supposedly, you'll also be able to choose from 20 available Marvel characters, which happen to include the Hulk, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Venom and the Human Torch.

Furthermore, it appears there'll be an in-game ability to fuse character powers together to create a hybrid ability for one character. An alien symbiote fusing with a guy carrying adamantium claws and super-regenerative capabilities? Yes, please!

The marketing leak also appears to have confirmed the platforms the game will be headed to, noting that the game will be released on the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, DS, and PS2.

 » um what

quite a few of the marvel mutants listed are products of either biotech labs, or radiation (depending on the decade)...

first it's biotech that made the hulk, next gun powder?
