Rumor: GTA 4 DLC dated already? - Image 1 Things are definitely looking up for fans of Rockstar North's upcoming Grand Theft Auto 4 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3). We got hold of a rumor that will make you guys smile all the way to the moon.

It seems that even if the game itself hasn't been released, the DLC for it has already been dated, allegedly. The first DLC episode has been said to have been marked for an August 20 to 22 release. It's roughly four months after the slated release of the game.

Furthermore, the second DLC episode is said to be dated for a timely Christmas release. Now that ain't a bad holiday gift, we have to say. Well, things are pretty much in the air right now. We'll just have to wait for authentic and official word from the devs themselves. Keep you eyes glued for more updates on the game.

So your saying that DLC is coming to PS3 and XBOX 360 at the same time? I thought the 360 version had exclusive content for download? Please give more details of what is exclusive to the 360 if thats the case, when you receive any further updates, please.

 » Well

I have read that the 360 has 2 Exclusive DLC's. So 2 releases the 360 will have that the PS3 wont.

 » Not even that...

Considering that ALL episodic DLC is exclusive to 360 means this has nothing to do with PS3...

Rockstar said they would be "comming up" with some sort of DLC for PS3.....but by that they mean things like new suits for Nico or some car downloads, nothing to do with the story or any kind or real expansion....

Too bad I will miss out on this but I still rather play it on PS3.

I thought the title said "delayed" instead of "dated" for a second. I was scared.

Rockstar have never said that DLC will be exclusive to Xbox 360. They have just said (and signed a contract) that X360 will have two downloadable episodic contents that will be exclusive to X360. That said, nothing stops Sony giving the PS3 a DLC package of its own.

Still, even if Rockstar won't do another DLC package for PS3, PS3 owners could still be able to get DLC. Actually, the DLC could in fact be exactly the same DLC as the x360 had, just because MS have a contract that is no longer valid in late 2009 (or whenever it was)!

Hold on, PS3 owners, I do believe we will see DLC in time - but not for a long time.

we are such cheapskate people, we pay for pricey console but nothing more.
we are not affected by the exclusive x360 dlc for gta4.
heck even if it comes out for ps3, i may not buy it at all.
i think most people moves on to the next big game,
dlc's dont do much if the game is already good.
dlc only works for broken or incomplete games, where dlc fixes or adds the incompetence nyahaha.
april 29, 2008 up to june11 is the time of gta4,
june 12, 2008 marks the next big thing, Metal Gear Solid 4.
