It seems like Handcircus has taken a page off the PlayStation Portable title LocoRoco and decided to ship a similarly themed game on the Apple iPhone. Entitled "Rolando", the game will feature a band of multi-colored spheres which you have to guide through various levels until you reach the exit (sounds familiar, doesn't it?).

For all its similarities with the PSP game, it does sport several unique features inherent with the iPhone. Movement will be reliant on the platform's touchscreen capabilities, as well as some interesting ways on how to solve some of the game's challenging levels. Those of you still waiting for LocoRoco 2 may as well distract yourselves with this game until it comes out.

Rolando is slated for a summer release and will be available for both the iPhone and the iPhone touch. To give you a better idea of how the game will play, you can take a look at Rolando's teaser trailer below.
