Rogue Trooper heading to the Wii - Image 1Time to bring out the one-man killing machine! Reef Entertainment has announced that it has made a deal with UK developer Rebellion to come out with a new Rogue Trooper game for the Wii.

According to the press release they sent out, the game will be called Rogue Trooper: The Quartz Zone Massacre. It'll feature the aforementioned rogue trooper, who is a genetically-engineered soldier, as well as the remnants of his comrades-in-arms.

What do we mean by remnants, in this case? As it happens, the game is supposed to place you as the sole survivor of an operation gone wrong. Luckily, every soldier in your group had special chips implanted into them, which allow for their personalities and combat abilities to be loaded onto your weaponry and armor for future use.

Rogue Trooper: The Quartz Zone Massacre will be coming out in the fourth quarter of 2008. While we look for more information on this game, you may want to look back to the year 2006 and hunt down the PS2, PC, or Xbox versions of Rogue Trooper for your gaming collection.
