Rock Band: The Cars debut album arrives next week - Image 1You might want to save up some cash, at least if you're looking to grab more tracks for your copy of Rock Band (PS3, Xbox 360). Harmonix has sent word that next week, they will be releasing The Cars' eponymous debut album from 1978 as downloadable content.

For the fans, consider this a celebration of the album's 30th anniversary. Here's a lowdown of the songs the album will carry, each track being taken from the original master recordings:
  • Good Times Roll
  • My Best Friend's Girl
  • Just What I Needed
  • I'm in Touch with Your World
  • Don't Cha Stop
  • You're All I've Got Tonight
  • Bye Bye Love
  • Moving in Stereo
  • All Mixed Up
Each song will cost you US$ 1.99 (160 Microsoft Points), while the complete album will cost US$ 14.99 (1200 Microsoft Points). The album is currently scheduled to arrive in Xbox Live on May 27 (Tuesday), and will arrive in the PlayStation Store by May 29 (Thursday). That's the latest update we've got so for regarding Rock Band's DLC. Drop by again in case we run into any related news.
