In the latest issue of TIME Magazine Rob Pardo, Vice President of Blizzard Entertainment, made it into the Top 100 of "men and women whose power, talent, or moral example is transforming the world." Also on the list are the standard people like George W. Bush, Bill Gates, Matt Drudge and the like. Rob Pardo appeared in the Top 25 of the Artists & Entertainers section.

Not only is Rob Pardo Vice President of Blizzard, but he's also Lead Designer for the game we all know and love... World of Warcraft. TIME says "Pardo didn't invent this kind of game ... he merely perfected it." Fair enough (although it does get a bit boring at level 60).

That aside, Pardo apparently credited his team too: "generating from scratch history, geography, anthropology and ecology of a fully realized fantasy world spread over two continents." And yes, if the game gets any more popular (it will, trust me), "it may be up for a seat in the U.N."

How about 10 gold for everyone in Azeroth to celebrate this, eh?
