Here's an interesting little update for all you raiders out there. A new World of Raids post notes that a new piece of loot will allow you to give anyone free attunement to Serpentshrine Caverns. All you have to do is kill Lady Vashj and hope it drops.

This was recently discovered by the For the Horde guild, who were testing the returned version of Lady Vashj on the PTR with the help of a Blizzard GM.

The item that dropped, called the Scroll of the Maelstrom, is a BOP item that allows the scroll's user to grant automatic attunement to a targeted player. Sounds perfect for guilds who want to have more people in the Serprentshrine Caverns without the trouble of fixing attunements to get in.

While it was assumed that other bosses might drop the same loot, a test against Tempest Keep's Kael'thas yielded no similar treasure. Still, it would be interesting to see more attunement scrolls like this in the future, if only to help guilds progress further through instances.
