Resonate v0.35 - Image 1

Another entry for the Homebrew Idol contest is in, this time a rail shooter with an unlikely cast set under the sea. Homebrew developer HardHat, known for consistent contributions to the Sony PlayStation Portable homebrew scene, came up with Resonate.

It's worth noting that Resonate version 0.35 is an early build, but that won't stop you from enjoying an underwater experience where your goal is to become a thresher shark. To kick things off, here's the list of features that highlight HardHat's homebrew game:
  • five hero forms: Zooplankton, Sea Urchin, Seahorse, Stingray, Thresher Shark
  • high score tracking for each game
  • enemies in various attack formations
  • three kinds of power ups
  • level editor for Windows, Linux or MacOS based on fltk and OpenGL
Aside from that, you don't want to miss out on Resonate version 0.35's Readme file. It has instructions to guide through the game, and contains other details you want to keep an eye on for that high score.
