One thing you'll probably agree with is that mp3 player earbuds are cool, but hard to properly care for. You put them in a pocket and the wires get tangled. Stick it in a back pocket and you accidentally sit on it. Worse still if you detach it from the player, leave it in your pocket, and forget it, only to find that it went into the washer along with your pants (personal experience).

Because of problems like these, it's very tempting to get this nice carrying case for your earbuds: the SendStation earBuddy.

Looking like some kind of chainmail-armored jewelry box, the earBuddy is just as tough as it looks. It can withstand a beating, 200 lbs. of force, which is pretty much anything the world could dish out on an object this small any day of the week.

The earBuddy is also designed to stop your earbud cords from getting tangled. the reel on the inside lets you place the buds in the center, and then you use the outside to loop it around the reel. When you want to take it out, just grab the plug-end of your earbuds and the whole thing will come out without any tangles or mess.

Since it's also a pretty small item, the earBuddy can be used as a keyring or key chain. Attach it to your bag or your keys so you don't forget it, and take it out when needed.
