well the wii is certainly surprising. I guess nintendo's market proves right. Non-hardcore gamers dont play games much. This proves it. The wii has sold as many as the 360 but is played only half as much, many people who buy wii's probably dont play it at all and the ps3 is not surprising because not that many are sold.

Also the fact that the wii isn't 100% made for real games, its more marketed towards Wii fit and other stuff, most non gamers are getting it for that reasons.

There was actually an article on QJ.net not more than a couple of weeks ago regarding a deal between Sony and the Nielsen team regarding tracking the usage of the PS3 in homes.
Nobody is forcing them to do anything and nobody is being nosy! The Nielsen ratings are used for many things such as a basis for advertising costs and to collect demographic info such as age groups that watch certain shows etc....
Please research what you are talking about next time. Far fewer people will disagree with you and many of us, such as myself, MTK, and most of the time Stealth and Quixand, enjoy a good debate with a poster that disagrees with us as long as they actually know what they are talking about and don't base their posts on pure opinions and speculation.
I would even carry on an intelligent conversation with MCS, Shatterdome, or AoxomamoxoA if they would back off a little bit and stop being ignorant opinionated tools for MS!

Ms however has not even made any profit on either consoles which is true by there 6 billion dollar loss. The 1.89 billion is from hardware failures in 3 or 4 months this year. Sony ps3 might not be having the best 8 months but i don't see them dead. I can't say the same for MS.

It has never given me the rrod, never scratched my games, or had any sort of serious malfunction. Crazy right? And people like you try to make it seem like its gonna die every time I turn it on, but youre a fool so what do you know.
The funny thing is, even though I put up with the ps3s poor performance, long loading times, hellishly long install and download times, skimpy online store, poor selection of games mostly being ports of a console you so readily diss every chance you get, and small community, it is still no match for what the 360 offers, even at a price tag much higher too. Twice in ninja gaiden, and once after closing the web browser, so dont act like the ps3 is flawless when it comes to hardware because its not. Thats funny Stealth. Same old bullcrap line about the 360 failing or whatever right? Something you know NOTHING about other than what your fellow idiot sony fans tell you to believe.
Heres some truth for you though, so get ready to enlighten yourself. I have a LAUNCH 360, that right, a day one fresh out of the starting gate 360. And guess what? It has never given me the rrod, never scratched my games, or had any sort of serious malfunction. Crazy right? And people like you try to make it seem like its gonna die every time I turn it on, but youre a fool so what do you know.
The funny thing is, even though I put up with the ps3s poor performance, long loading times, hellishly long install and download times, skimpy online store, poor selection of games mostly being ports of a console you so readily diss every chance you get, and small community, it is still no match for what the 360 offers, even at a price tag much higher too.
