is pixel junk monsters worth the ten bucks? i like DTD, but dont want to pay the extra money if there aren't very many improvements. and please dont give me that "if you can't risk 10 bucks gtfo" crap, just help me out.

in japanese store you can play the demo... I don't know why in the US and EU store never came out but anyway... I liked always DTD thats why I was interested... and the game is really fun to play with.. I had my doubts because I see the game so childish but is really cool... I hate the music but everything else is perfect

Is it worth it? That's a hard one. It's only worth $10 if you get $10+ of fun out of it. Without a demo, I see no real way for you to get a real answer.
So other then myself and others giving their own experience then taking the jump based on that, it's still a risk.
Anywho, I love the game. Very fun to play. But then again, I:
1. Am very sick and tired of third person shooters.
2. Love 2D games! I had a blast playing cavestory and am currently having a blast playing Knytt Stories.
I like games were you have to think. If all you do is mash a button to get through countless killing then I'll pass.

I agree with the bottom part of ISOHaven's response. I am also sick of shooters. They are better on the PC anyway.
As for Pixeljunk Monsters: This game is well worth the 10 bucks. Hell, it was 7.99 when I bought it. Should've bought it then!

I love TD heaps in WC3 and Starcraft. But this game takes TDs to a whole new level, and it's super polished.
