Paradroid (Commodore 64) from Andrew Braybrook - Image 1 It's another great day of all of you retro gaming fans as another classic has hit the Nintendo's Wii Shop Channel. Europe's Virtual Console has been updated with another retro gem: Paradroid.

In case you haven't heard of this title, it was first released in 1985 for the Commodore 64 and it was created by Andrew Braybrook (who also created Uridium). Paradroid's story is pretty simple, your mission is to rescue a spaceship's crew from robots run amok. You have to destroy the other droids by taking over them (think Body Snatchers) through a mini-game with circuit boards and logic gates.

Also, Paradroid features a sort of "level up" system since each droid is assigned with a number, which as you can probably tell, indicates that droid's strength.

Interested? Paradroid is now available on Europe's Wii Shop Channel for 500 Wii Points.
