Michael Pachter - Image 1Michael Pachter has returned with his crystal ball to give us a glimpse... of the past! Dun dun dunnnnn. Pachter has given us his predictions for the month of October ahead of the official numbers from the NPD Group.

Pachter predicts that the Wii dominated last month. Easy enough to predict, seeing as Nintendo's ramping up production by 33%. One of his more questionable predictions is the outcome between the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.

Note that October was the month that Fable 2 and LittleBigPlanet were both released - both platform exclusives and console sellers in their own right. It seems the magnitude of LittleBigPlanet and its cutesy wutesy sackboys didn't sway Pachter's opinion though. According to him, the Xbox 360 still outsold the Sony console for October.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's right; Microsoft's price cut last September really kicked up Xbox 360 sales. They also introduced new bundles for the holiday season, so further sales boosts are expected. Here are the sales numbers that Pachter's crystal ball predicts for October:
  • Nintendo DS: 525,000
  • Wii: 775,000
  • Xbox 360: 325,000
  • PS3 and PSP: 225,000
  • PS2: 135,000

 » Absolutely.

Then again, people care about what he says FAR MORE than you could dream of.

I bet his jokes are better as well (not hard.)

So.... no one gives a crap about what he says AND people care about what he says....

Yup, you are an idiot.

Also, I was addressing THIS SITE. As you can see after 24 hours no one has cared enough to post real comments. So once again, you are wrong. No one cares.
