Michael Pachter, analyst for Wedbush Morgan Securities, believes that the strongest game this holiday - and for a long time after, probably - is Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. He points out that it's one of the only adult-oriented third-party games for the Wii this holiday season.

"That's the game that people who bought Wii for 'Tennis' will want" says Pachter. Especially if New York proclaimed September 26 as Guitar Hero Day, it won't be surprising if his prediction comes to pass.

Whether or not it's going to be the "killer" game for the Wii, it's still very much possible to sell out in stores quickly. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock will be released on October 29, also available for the PS3, PS2, Xbox 360, and PC.
