Ó

I love it when the community comes together! Here we have a great instant messenger client for the PSP that was a collaborative effort by some of the guys on our forums: youresam, LordSturm, CampbellFF plus a little hosting assistance by Yeldarb and testing by NEvolution. Some of you may remember our past articles regarding the Lua development library netlib by youresam - out of it was born the netlib Instant Messenger, a very crude IM client. With PSPChat, they've made quite an improvement on the abilities and look of a Lua-based IM client. The current version not only supports users logging in and out, but also have a private message feature.

Features:
-GUI
-On-Screen Keyboard
-Users log in and out
-Private Messaging

Controls:
Main:
X to open keyboard
SQUARE to refresh screen
UP/DOWN to scroll
R to open users tab
SELECT to log out
Text Editor:
X to insert letter
O to cancel
D-PAD to move
L backspace, R space
While receiving data...
If the program gets stuck on "receiving Data...", press
START to cancel

Commands:
Private Message:
/msg username message
NOTE: You cannot receive messages if you turned off
enable_private_message. If it is enabled, your mailbox is
deleted at logout. You cannot send a PM to a user not logged in.

Really why LUA? It's such a buggy code and barely anyone has the patience to use it.

Lua is fine. It may not be powerful, but it does its job.
