PSP coder kgsws has released a new version of the Medal of Honor Heroes exploit we reported about a couple of days ago. According to the dev, this release doesn't require a WiFi connection and a CFW-enabled PSP.

The exploit has reportedly been tested on a PSP-1000 running firmware 5.51. For more info on how to run it please don't forget to check the "info.txt" file in the download. Here's a video of it in action:

Now the people on 5.50 will have a way to homebrew, 5.51 will have to wait a little longer for a new kernal exploit lol

it's unfortunate that this couldn't wait until the PSP go came out, maybe it could have worked on the firmware that will ship with. then again, we're still not sure if this can even launch anything yet

I am sure there are several people already sitting on zero-day exploits waiting for PSP Go to be launched. They are not going to reveal themselves ahead of time so just wait like everyone else.

And if you downloaded the MOHH1 v1 or v2 exploit you will see it can launch stuff, it even includes instructions how.

thought the psp go had no umd drive do you think the exploit would work with a psn release ?

   Re: downloader1122 - 2009-07-11
» Not this one, but others will

Since this exploit has been publicly released any new releases of MOHH1 will almost certainly be patched. That would include any potential digital release on PSN and UMD re-runs.

Other than that it doesn't matter if a game is running from UMD or (Sony) ISO it can still be exploited. So private exploits currently based on UMD games will still work on PSP Go, provided Sony re-releases the game on PSN.
