Here's some good news for the guys who've found plenty of uses for Mediumgauge's PSP Filer application. The developer has announced that the homebrew app has been updated to version 5.3.

Among other things, this new build carries improvements for PSP Filer's picture viewer, such as the ability to read the next picture in background. Here's the rest of the changelog:

• General:
• Putting filer/text/binary [.bmp/.jpg/.png] in the same folder of Filer, Filer changes background as mode changes.
• Picture viewer:
• image loading will be done in a separated thread.
• reduced a bug that audio playback was stopped while reading a picture.
• added a feature to read next picture in background. (maximum 7 pictures)
