PSP Bible ToolWho needs a G-E-D? I've got my B-I-B-L-E! Well, who said you couldn't get any holier anyways? And while we're at it, why not hang a halo over your PSP handheld and put in the Super Book also? You never know when you'd receive a calling from God, so better be prepared.

So back when Die Hard D released the first version of his PSP Bible, it caused quite a ruckus. Now, we don't want any religious flame war going in the comments section (Peace be with you!), so please, be sensitive with what you put down.

There's not much difference in this version, but the programmer was able to fix some mistakes with the chapters. Also, there's a new Capture Mode. As with the previous version, made sure you have the following requirements to run this homebrew:

  • Firmware 2.00+. (2.70+ for flash calendar to work)
  • 46mb of space on your memory stick
Seeing is believing.

I think that it's a good addition to the psp... it's the MOST popular book of all time. I think that I will download it and try out the book and see how the text is readable (or not) and if the layout is good or crap... I think that is what is truly important for anyone picking up this piece of homebrew. Thanks to the person who has developed another piece of homebrew; it's keeping the psp alive.

Thank you for the update, not that I found anything wrong with the original. This app is very well put together, it's great :) My favorite part is it works with psps that have been screwed up by evil (aka. unneeded) updates.

People remember, Christians aren't bad people, idiots are. It is possible to have a brain and have faith in something. The sad thing is, the majority of the world is highly uneducated and cannot understand the metaphors in this book, thus making fools of themselves by not practicing what they preach.

True, so true...

If I were more inclined I'd say Amen to that. :-)

As was previously stated, it is the MOST popular book of all time, which makes it worth it all by itself.

 » FAIR?

Sure? are you sure this is the MOST popular book? how about porn? yea thats right, this stupid world and it's sins.

On the other hand, who wrote the bible? a guy or a god? a guy who wrote it because the god told him? or a guy wrote it to gain power? It's not that I don't believe in jesus or anything, is that I just really can't trust some guy who claims to have seen stuff, especially after all the other religion and how some people believe in them, how do you tell which religion is right? only way to tell is when you're dead, why shouldn't god(if it's true) forgive you if you didn't fully believe in him because of all the lies and scandals around the world? what if when you die, you go to some place that is unlike heaven or hell in any matter? or if you just DIE? huh?

» Good job! Some more ideas..

This is a great resource - perfect for settling those arguments that arise when people start misquoting the bible! I would like to see a search function and as mentioned by another user, why not make a version for the Quran and maybe a few other texts as well? I'd also like to see a link (in the links section) to the Skeptic's Annotated Bible, which is an even better resource and also includes other religious texts. (http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/) Good job!

 » Good app!

Even though I disagree with how Christians view the Trinity, I still think it's a wonderful program. I'd also like to see the Quran and Torah Tool. Maybe I'm the few actually appreciating this because I actually study religion even though I'm not following one currently.

Anyways, if anyone is actually desperate to read Quran or Torah on their PSP, just google for PDF's and read them on your PSP via "BookR", they're not very hard to find. Although they're probably not going to be as organized as this, it's a good alternative.
