It may be too early to tell just yet, but it looks like this year's E3 event will be definitely owned by the PSP. When SCEA director of hardware marketing John Koller talked to Kotaku yesterday, he revealed that the recently revealed 2009 PSP line-up (remember the press release announcing all those cool games?) will be heading to the E3 event. Koller said to Kotaku:At Destination Playstation we announced about half of the line up for the PSP this year, some fairly major, triple-A titles are coming for the back half of the year that are going to be announced in the coming months and at E3. But is that it? LittleBigPlanet, MotorStorm, Assassin's Creed, ...? Apparently, there could be more. An SCEE spokesperson has contacted MCVUK to say that the press release isn't everything yet. On top of the games announced in this week's press release, they will "be outlining the release of additional, new and existing IPs for the platform in the coming months." So obviously, there's more. And what's even more interesting is that there is going to be at least one existing PlayStation franchise getting the PSP treatment, and at least another one more that's entirely new! Here's me hoping that that one PlayStation IP that's yet to be announced is a Jak & Daxter game. Unless of course, someone will slap me silly with hopes of that ever-delayed and often-thought-vaporware Gran Turismo Mobile. Be that as it may... I'm curious... what's this new IP going to be? I'm still wishing or hoping for a PSP devil may cry game. And perhaps GTA San Andreas Stories for the fans, that'll definitely get sales rocking in the millions.

San Andreas Stories?
I don't think I'd play any other handheld game ever.
