Anyway, you keep saying Lair sucks. However, I know that you are smart enough to realize that most of the poor reviews are due to the motion-sensing control scheme. So why not rent the game and give the motion-sensing controls a chance before you diss it like everyone else?

I have to agree with you. There is nothing wrong with the motion sensing controls. The game performs and controls great! It does have a pretty complex set of controls but they all make sense. After checking out the tutorial and playing for a short time, it is very easy to pick up and play! I enjoy LAIR very much and worth every penny of $60!

C'mon Barakku, that's not fair. At least, ever since he has got a PS3 and tried it, MCS has softened his stance somewhat, and nowadays his views are more balanced rather than biased in any particular direction.
This was not about Heavenly Sword. It has gotten good reviews (8.0 at Gamespot), that's why he mentioned it.
Anyway, that's not to say HS might not be awesome. The reviews at Gamespot have praised ALL aspects of the game (Good Start, Outstanding Visual Design, Sharp Control, Technically Proficient Graphics, Terrific Voice Acting) except for one (Short - play time 6 hours).

I don't know about that, although I agree, the way they word their news and put spin on certain news certainly seems to indicate an unhealthy amount of bias in favour of Microsoft sometimes. But that might just be a reflection on a particular Reporter/Journalist rather than a whole website.

Well whilst the 360 is gud in its own right as a games console not as a multimedia device. The elite is such a cop out. 360 fanboys point the finger towards the 80gb ps3 saying its a waste and indeed it is. But they forget the problem with the elite, they included a hdmi and 120gig woops e doo for 300. Thats is appalling they r forgetting u still have to buy a £60 wifi and a £100 hd dvd drive if u want it to have the same multimedia stuff as the ps3. Which adds up to more than a ps3.
Unlike the ps3 which is killing off its last models the 360 gives new consumers a baffling choice of 3 consoles. The ps3 is better value for money its just lacking games.
The truth is the elite feels like a company that is struggling to cope with the fact that it no long has the next gen market to itself. Its be redesigned to face its competitors and is no longer leading the way.
