PSP homebrew developer Art has released an update to X-Flash, an application which allows you to customize your PSP in a variety of ways. It's been a while since we've seen any updates to the program, which is now on version 18l. The last update was released way back in January last year. This new build now has a new optional Lite mode, which grants you the option to run the program without any firmware version checking. Please note though, that this new build has only been tested on 3.52 M33-3. Art notes that: It's still a 1.50 kernel mode program, and I don't know if it will start, or how it will behave with newer firmwares, or running under Time Machine. Skipping version checking disables most of the program's original functions, and you will not be allowed to select firmware-dependent features. Users are encouraged to go through the readme before installing the program. Here is the changelog for X-Flash v18l:

I can't see how useful this program is, though.
