Nokia announces new game service for N-Gage - Image 1Nokia has announced a new service for its N-Gage mobile phone which allows users to try the games for free using any compatible Nokia device. If after trying the game, you want to pick up a copy, you can download the game directly on your phone or a PC and keep playing.

The N-Gage service is slated to be available worldwide by November 2007. Nokia head of the games business Jaakko Kaidesoja spoke about this move by their company as well as its potential impact on the current mobile computing market. Here's what he said in the press release:

As we expand our focus from a dedicated game phone to a gaming service, we are making getting and playing games even easier. The N-Gage service combined with powerful devices, world class titles and brands, and interactive social networking features, takes the mobile gaming experience beyond traditional boundaries.

The N-Gage games will be going for about 6 to 10 euros depending on the title. This is of course exclusive of all other charges such as tax and operator billings. If that's a bit too expensive, they're planning on coming out with cheaper plans for daily and weekly licenses. In case you want to find out more, head on over to the N-Gage site via our Read Link.
