Image from Allakhazam.com - Image 1Vaneras has just posted something on the official European World of Warcraft forums that's sure to bring a some joy to the rogues running all over Azeroth today.

According to the post, Blizzard animators are currently working on "completely new stealth movement animations" in order to get rid of the current "funny looking" stealth animations.

The new stealth animations are expected to make their debut in patch 2.1, but Vaneras cautions that there is a chance that they may not make make it in time. If such a thing happens, the fix will be delayed for a later patch.

Some players may ask, "Why not just restore the old stealth animations?" Vaneras says that he thinks "the animators felt like they wanted something new instead of reverting back to the old animations. Something awesome that wouldn't make it look like that you are moving too fast or too slow when being in stealth."
