Ó

We've got a new trailer on the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 versions of Tony Hawk's Proving Ground. The video not only talks about the awesome-looking up-and-coming title from Activision, but also reveals a lot about how Neversoft started the franchise and does its stuff. Be warned that some words may not be appropriate for all ages, so do it with caution if you're sensitive about it.

Neversoft takes the liberty of giving us a walkthrough on the project so here we go:

The Tony Hawk series is one of the most commercially successful boarding franchises of all time, racking up millions in sales in each of its nine iterations and two spin-offs. Quality and innovation has defined the title, and fans have grown to respect it from across all platforms.

This guys is awsome and totaly true and .."thats *****in fun man !!" love it !!!

Ofcourse itsa been there done that situation but neversoft is truly innovated company and so is activision. the part about havin a game that they spend alot of time on and try to make it the best game possible every year is what totaly drives this company. and they aint like EA were u come out with a fckin madden game every year and all you do is change the rosters and upgrade the game every time bye 1% isnt very good hopefully when activision gets uber rich they dnt hore there games and stick true to there roots and yea that is why this game is so established as a a quality product

Oh please. Tony Hawk games are probably one of the most unoriginal companies in gaming today, right before Sony of course.

All tony hawk games are the same with just one or two extra features added in. Like, nail the trick mode, create a character mode, create a skate park mode, get off your board and run mode, and now it has this take a picture mode tacked on and theyre calling it a whole new game.

Even in the video they stated that they have released 9 games in the past 9 years. That means that there is no innovation, theyre just reselling the same crap every year. Its no wonder why this series isnt dead yet, idiots like you keep buying it.

 » TH games suck

This guy is an idiot. The tony hawk games are nowhere NEAR realistic. I've been skating for 8 years. EA's skate is gonna rape the tony hawk games sideways.

So yea this guy is completely retarded. He said tony hawk game are grounded in reality.....since when? He said you can play the game as a "Sim"....and actually beat the game? He said people see TH and buy it as a brand name..well thats true (same goes for madden..at the same time he says they stand for quality...right the "next gen" versions of thp8 lagged so bad it became unplayable. Does anyone else get the vibe that this guy is just trying to hard to act "hip" watching him cuss was like watching James Franco act, sure he does it but i wanna gouge my eyes out for watching it. What neversoft should do is start making a bmx or some other "extreme sports" game. That way they could switch off which game comes out which year. They could double the dev time (per game) and possibly bring back some customers who wont touch there usually crap games.
