Hardee's Country Breakfast Bomb - Image 1They call it the "country breakfast bomb": two egg omelets, chock full of bacon, sausage, diced ham, cheddar cheese and hash browns, topped off with sausage gravy all wrapped up snugly inside a burrito wrap. It's the new mother of all portable breakfasts from Hardee, and it contains 920 calories and 60 grams of fat.

Described (probably accurately) as "food porn" by a nutrition and health advocate, the burrito doesn't top some of Hardee's more infamous selections. Their chicken salad for example, has 1,100 calories and 83 grams of fat, while their Monster Thickburger has 1,420 calories. On the brighter side, it's a breakfast meal so you have time to jog.

Apparently, the Center for Nutritional Policy and Promotion recommends a daily caloric intake of 1,600 calories for older adults and 2,800 calories for active adults. That's half your calorie intake for the day right there, that's less exercise for your jaw. On a completely different and unrelated note, a recent study has concluded that obesity is rising in the US.
