More money doesn't necessarily equate to having more problems. In the case of raiding in World of Warcraft, you might just get more money for doing the same amount of work. This is one of a small number of changes that Eyonix recently announced for WoW patch 2.4, and the official announcement is certainly exciting enough if you're a raider.
Here's what Eyonix said:
We have a few changes planned for patch 2.4 that we'd like to share a little bit with you. First, all 25-player raid bosses will drop more gold and those who dropped set tokens will drop one additional token. Additionally, the the loot dropped by Doomlord Kazzak and Doomwalker has been changed to bind-on-equip. These two outdoor raid bosses will also drop much more gold than before as well.
Lastly, Scale of the Sands reputation will now be awarded in Hyjal at a much higher. We expect that Eyonix meant to say that Scale of the Sands reputation would be awarded at a much higher rate.
In any case, it's certainly good to know that raiders will be able to mitigate their repair bill losses a bit better, as well as grab more set tokens from raid bosses. It makes waiting for 2.4 a little bit tougher though, because who wouldn't want to get more out of their raiding experience now that they've heard about all that, right?
