Nobody likes to be caught with tainted goods, so it seems. After the wave of banned Xbox 360 units from XBL occurred, Craigslist wakes up to find itself flooded with modded Xbox units, all for sale. The owners of these units apparently take much importance to their Xbox Live accounts, and so would rather lose the unit than not be able to get online. You can get one for as low as US$ 90, in fact. On the other hand, because of this influx of modded Xbox 360s on Craigslist, you might want to avoid the online store for now, if in case you're looking for a cheap, unmodded one. You never know, you might purchase a unit that is declared to be unmodified, but actually is. Just to be on the safe side, apply this principle to all second-hand stores. If you have accidentally bought a modded console, sorry, but Microsoft has made it clear as plain as day that they will not be extending the warranty of the said units, regardless if it was not your fault. In the midst of all this, looks like Microsoft will be having a merry Christmas, thanks to second-time owners (maybe third or fourth or more if they've been Red Ring'd before) out to get a brand new console for their second leash of Xbox life. lol there are so many bargains for games atm you can be cheap and legit at the same time. I got MW2 for £26 on Monday and brand new games always come out for under £30 or even as low as £17.99 so there is no excuse really.
before the sale of games on the internet psx and ps2 times, were big you had a point as stores had a monopoly on game prices but now they are more competitve with the internet. that means we get lower prices

Except that you would need to fork out for a Blu-ray writer for your PC (fast ones are still expensive) and blank Blu-ray discs which are way more expensive than blank DVD+R DL.
Burning PS3 games would be a very expensive hobby. Some people would do it, but most would find the start up cost very prohibitive.

A few months ago, M$ blocked third parties HDs to run on their system.... and now they ar baning one million consoles, and to join the pieces of this puzzle is very simple. Everyone know that when a 360 is banned (mine was), the console doesnt recognizes that HD anymore, and the only solution right now is to buy an new M$ oficial HD. Think about how many HDs M$ are selling right now. And i will let you know that my 360 wasnt hacked, and every single brazilian people are being banned too, hundreds or millions of brazilian 360 owners are geting their pockets ripped by M$, hundreds for sure without modifying their 360, and are geting banned without reason. I will not talk about the hacked ones, because maybe they deserves, but all of my friends are geting banned without having modified theirs. I dont know what has happened with Microsoft, but i do think they are mass baning the accounts by IPs, and only to make profit with their HD business. Think about it.
