Nintendo Wii console and Wii Remote - Image 1Now that you've found a way to extract your precious Mii avatars off your Wii console and into an SD card, developer waninkoko has recently rolled out a follow up application to the Mii Extractor v1.0 with a corresponding program which allows you to install your Miis back into your console.

Entitled "Mii Installer v1.0", this program makes the perfect complement to his previous Mii Extractor application (link above), ensuring that Wii users can safely back up and store their virtual personas. Anyway, for instructions on how to properly copy your Miis back into the console's memory, here are the detailed steps on how to do that:
  1. Create a directory named “miis” at the root of an SD card.
  2. Copy all the Miis you want to install in the directory created in the previous step.
  3. Run the application and all Miis is copied from the SD card to your Wii.
Before Mii Installer v1.0, please make sure to check out the included documentation for additional details about the program. You can download the file through our download link below. Enjoy!
