It's looks as if good old Mama is making the transition to 3D. Majesco Entertainment has announced a new Cooking Mama game, entitled Cooking Mama World Kitchen, and it's set to cook up a storm on the Wii!

In Cooking Mama World Kitchen, Mama and her friends get to tackle new recipes featuring a whole new 3D look. Your indispensable Wiimote serves as your all-purpose kitchen tool, with which you can slice, dice, and stir everything that comes your way.

New to the series are a series of surprise minigames that occur when a potential cooking mistake happens. For instance, if you flip a burger to high, a minigame will start which will allow you to catch the burger as it falls down.

An original idea, inherently fun execution and Mama's appeal have clearly resonated with both Wii and Nintendo DS audiences.
