Hot off Cliffy B's peep show on Gears of War 2's multiplayer mode, leaked videos of the game's multiplayer beta were uploaded to YouTube. Featured in the clips is actual gameplay footage showcasing some of the new elements in the sequel.

Shown in the videos are some new touches like blood trails that drench the ground when a corpse is dragged off, the new "death crawl" maneuver, and interactive objects in the maps like stuff which can be kicked over.

It's also notable that Gears of War 2 is looking better than its predecessor in terms of character movement and details. It looks like the war of the next-gen action games is about to get even more intense when this hotrod finally drops.
