No, I'm not Tifa. See my big guns, huh? Oh wait. It's officially official. Eidos Interactive's shareholders have approved Square Enix's takeover of the company, only the paperwork is left to finalize the arrangement. Although Eidos will be under Square's umbrella, it looks like it will remain sufficiently independent as a studio. Squeenix won't be meddling in Eidos' operations so we likely won't hear of any layoffs straight after going through redtape. Once everything's done, Squeenix will own the rights to Eidos franchises, including Tomb Raider, Just Cause, and Hitman. I hope they're considering a Super Square Enix Brawl game somewhere in their pipeline. Related Articles:

man my favorite was hitman 2 although hitman 1 was funny because you can put women's clothes on. Hitman was a true assasin game i mean comon you change clothes so people wont recognise you not like assasins creed. Remember the mission where you have to take out the russian guy in part2 but if you do it you take out a fake so you personaly have to take him out inside the building.

It's quite a shame some of these smaller companies are on the brink of bankrupt and had to be bought out by other big companies. I mean some of those companies are what made the PS1 days so great. I just hope they won't vanish with their titles. :
