LG has revealed two new laptops being billed as desktop replacements: the X-R700 and X-S900. Both laptops have some pretty solid features that justify the label the company has put on it.The X-R700 has a 17 inch WXGA display complete with integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam. In addition, it also has 3GB of memory, 512MB of nVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics, 250 GB hard drive and a 1.83GHz T5550 Core 2 Duo processor. Expect it to go for around US$ 1,744. The X-S90, on the other hand, has a 19-inch with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 and a 1.83GHz T5550 Core 2 Duo processor. It also has a 256MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD2400 graphics, 2GB of memory, and 320GB hard drive spinning at 7,200rpm. Expect it to be available for around US$ 1,436. |
