Here comes SCE Worldwide Europe VP Jamie MacDonald stating that European consumers really don't mind the delay. In an interview, McDonald asserted thoughts that may raise eyebrows, "In Europe, it doesn't seem that the release of our platforms after the US and Japan - in the long run - affects how consumers feel." |

I really don't mind about the PS3 being pushed back, as now I have time to save up for both the Wii and the PS3. So in the long run it is better for me. Also all the european gamers will get the PS3 launch Line-up and more because more games will comes out during November to March. So us europeans get the best launch titles.

General opinion is most people I know are trying to find out how they can import from the US, despite the problems it may cause later with region encoded movies.
Personally I don't mind because I am betting that the initial batches will have issues, just like the 360 has done. I seem to remember a power cord recall with the original XBOX shortly after release too, and with the rumours of heat issues with PS3 in Tokyo (which I am sceptical about, but......) I am happy to let all of you Japanese and American gamers give it a thorough testing before I buy mine in March (hopefully) free of all manufacturing issues.

I was saving up for the PS3 as a big Final Fantasy player so therefore a Sony fan (have a VAIO, LCD TV and mobile by Sony). When it was announced that the PS3 was delayed I was pissed off. Same as I was when they did it with the PSP! So instead I went straight out and bought an Xbox 360 and about 4/5 games. I will probably end up buying a PS3, but I'm happy with the Xbox 360 and PS2 for now and will wait until FF XIII comes out probably in a year or two.

As my title says, i'm kinda used to being kicked in the nuts by sony, we always get friggin delays (not that im happy about it!)! I'm so used to delays that im confident that the PS3 wont hit UK shores untill after the March release date, I expect the end of spring/start of summer to be the PS3 launch.
At least by then there should be a bigger library of titles by then, not that any of them will be worth owning. Afterall, the PS2 was a bucket of ***** untill Gran Turismo 3 was released, well at least thats my opinion!

We dont expect anything less than either getting it late or not enough stock.

sure i'm *****ed up im living in germany and i cant wait for that "best next gen gaming system with blu-ray player"! half year waiting sux cause i only can watch gameplay videos for that long time :-(
