New Xbox 360 accessories - Image 1

Ever wanted a pink Xbox 360 controller to come your way? Well, you're in luck: Microsoft just released hot new accessories for the 360 to juice up your gaming experience.

Pink and dark blue wireless controllers are now available for US Xbox gamers for US$ 49.99 (Europe and Japan gets a nice light blue-hued Xbox wireless controllers).

For those who do a bit of chatting on the side while playing, the Xbox 360 Messenger Kit offers a lot more convenience in socializing with other gamers online. This small QWERTY keypad fits snugly to your Xbox 360 controller, thus eliminating the need to frantically switch between controller and keyboard during gameplay. Check out more details about this nifty keyboard in our previous article here.

And last but not the least comes the Halo 3 Special Edition Console, coming this September. Decked out in Halo colors Spartan green and gold, this cool collectible is a must have for Halo fans. The console comes with a 20 GB Hard Drive, a Halo 3 Special Edition wireless controller, and wired headsets, among other standard accessories such as cables and the Play and Charge Kit. The console also lets owners pick up exclusive Halo 3 Special Edition gamer pics and themes through Xbox Live.

Speaking of Xbox Live, this special edition console also grants the lucky owner an Xbox Live Silver Membership as well as Gold Membership good for one month. But how about the actual Halo 3 game, the most important thing every Halo gamer should have? It's still sold separately.

1: Ok, the Color is always one thing from the user's POV.. but hello, to my POV its UGLY
2: 20 GB Hard Drive .... this is defenatly low... I bet they had to cut down prices somwhere
3: "wireless controller, and wired headsets" - why in god's sake a WIRED headset? WHY? This is the MOST stupid decision of em all...

4: Price? And whats the Price of this precius bundle? 600$+?

I don't know why they release with these colors... the only ones that like this colours are the one that also like the brown zune one.... really ugly... for halo I prefer Gears of War... I never like it Halo... but was halo that make everyone to make good shooting games... anyway love halo grafics but not the gameplay

 » not you

I like the colors, looks military very cool. Its too bad my white 360 has a three year warranty that i must wait untill i can get a green or black one < /sarcasm >

the wired headset doesnt bother me. I went out of my way and bought a wired controller so i can use it with my wired headset. Its just one less thing that i have to keep charged. But, i can see why someone else would want a wireless one, to each his ow.

5: You have to buy the actual game seperate.
6: And I also bet you can not buy a 2nd green controller what so ever

------

So all in all, what do you get? A repainted 360 and controller and some pics/theme. ... Truly a great deal...

Honestly, who beside the really most retarded, biggest halo fanboys (hello MCS) will buy this special edition?

You're thinking about famous fantard quixand, he's the only moron who bought 3 of the same console.

I've never played Halo. I used to own a PS2. I liked the Timesplitters series. I wonder if that's coming to the 360 (most likely.)

Either way, I only need one 360.

Looks like this version has the HDMI port, so it's like an elite but in green with a 20gb hard drive and includes a play and charge kit also. It should come with the game though, that's kind of dumb.

I really don't care for the color though.

I think this is geared towards the people who have been holding off on getting a 360 until halo3 arrives (which is dumb cuz they missed a boatload of awesome games).

A Final Fantasy themed PS3. That thing would sell like the proverbial hotcakes

If Halo 3 came out for PS3, we'll get a stupid petition saying how dissappointed the "fans" are with Bungie sharing the awesome game with owners of both the 360 and the PS3.
